Luminata
Fall means the darkening of days and the coming of rain. For Art Haus and the Fremont Arts Council it means celebrating the autumnal equinox with lanterns and the lighting of Greenlake!
This is our fourth year making lanterns and bringing art to this celebration. We made a few lanterns while helping out at Powerhouse workshops, and choreographed a fire performance for the end of the lantern procession.
Many of our friends joined us at the event to craft lanterns, bring art, celebrate with us, and join in our fire performance.
Z hosted a popup lantern workshop in Evanston Plaza.
The day before the event we helped out at the Powerhouse with tagging and bagging the lanterns and packing the truck.
Thank you to everyone involved
to everyone who made lanterns for FAC
to all the volunteers who helped out at the event
to everyone who celebrated the equinox with us
to the rain for staying away (🚫🌧️) and for the wonderful Sun and Moon (🌞🌝).
